I’ve been posting under the nom de plume “Stone Table” for the better part of fifteen years. As my writing career begins to bloom I’ve realized that a more professional web presence would be prudent. Not that I have a problem with my moniker but having to introduce myself as an inanimate object at conventions in order to be recognized as that guy from the Internet is kind of awkward and not the kind of impression I want to leave with people. More so when you want to be recognized as a peer and professional. So, after years of regrets followed by nail-biting, I am happy to announce that AdamIsrael.com is now mine.
From this point forward, I will be blogging under my own name. The stonetable.org domain will remain online for archival purposes and I will be phasing out my other uses of my nickname. Change is always uncertain but I’m excited by what’s to come.

congrats man, I been thinking about retiring the old madmanx name on ars and on irc for awhile now. I have it for almost 10 years and I think it’s time to put it rest.
Added to my RSS feed. Does this mean you’ll no longer be on LJ?
I don’t think I’ll ever leave LiveJournal. I’ll keep cross-posting and my friends list is a permanently open tab in my browser. I’d switch my name there, but there’s another Adam Israel using it (a musician from your neck of the woods, I think).
Welcome into the light my friend. Ironic that you’ve just unveiled this domain, and my registrar just sent me an email reminding me this is my last chance to revive my old truck-web.us domain. A few forums I’m on with my old nick won’t allow me to change it, and I don’t feel like bothering with a new account, so I won’t. New places I register, I go with my actual name.
May this change, and 2010, bring you much excellence.
Congratulations. I started phasing-out my online username that I’ve used since 1996 about 4 years ago, and it has been a positive decision.
Congratulations on the website!
